I cried, praised, laughed and smiled!

I have to tell you what happened on the morning of the 20th of this month. About 3 weeks ago I blogged about a dream on my Wordpress blog. It was a dream God blessed me with about cassettes wrapped up like gifts, keep that in mind when reading this.

Well, that morning I just started praying and I hear “I am giving you a gift.” I thanked God for it and say I receive it Lord. I have not idea what the Lord has in mind, what it may be. I then hear “Its the gift of interpretation.” I thank Him for trusting me to serve Him, giving Him praise. I wasn't sure if I heard right on the word “interpretation” but went on praying.

I always ask God what of His word He wants me to read each morning and this morning I hear “Daniel 2:6” as clear as can be. I could NOT have told you what that verse said if my life depended on it. Well, when I read it I dropped everything in my hand and cried, praised, laughed and smiled. Daniel 2:6 “But if you declare the dream and its interpretation, you will receive from me gifts and a reward and great honor; therefore declare to me the dream and its interpretation.”

GOD IS SO AMAZING! I am so humbled that He would choose someone like me to serve Him while I am here upon this earth. I am not great with words when I pray. I do not spell well or put commas and other things where they should be and I can not quote verses or tell you where this verse is or that verse is. I just know I love God and have given Him my heart and received His mercy, grace and forgiveness for my sins and want to spend time in His presence each day.

God still speaks to us but you have to be willing to listen. He is there for us but we must also be there for Him. Giving Him back some of the time He blesses us with each day.

When you spend time with Him, not wavering, staying strong, having faith… amazing things will happen!
